If there were a Bristol music website with bands offering tracks for download and streaming internet radio from the bristol music scene, do you think that Bristol.fm would be a suitable name? Or would you think that the fm domain name extension denoted a radio broadcasters website? Info about bands and musicians, gigs, venues and going out to see live music in Bristol UK - sounds a little like Lush Bristol dont you think? Well there sure is a reason for that...
We are considering using www.bristol.fm as the name for the Bristol music scene website with bands, tracks for download, streaming internet radio, info about bands, musicians, venues, gigs and making the most of live music in Bristol UK. We would like to know what you think of this as a name, please get in touch. Bristol has a thriving local music scene, with a regular flow of visiting artists and some great venues. Long known as a particularly creative and originally musical city, Bristol draws musicians and audiences from a wide area of the south west and Wales. We know the need for an independent website for the music scene from first hand experience. Our intentions of providing this before Christmas have slipped slightly, but not by much, so expect something in the first quarter of 2007. http://www.bristol.fm/ What do you reckon? |
